Leaders in Care is working with a Scottish council looking for an experienced Child Protection Social Worker currently based in England who is ready to relocate.

This is an opportunity to put your safeguarding expertise to work in a new setting, supporting children and families while experiencing life north of the border.

The role

• Undertake child protection assessments and manage complex safeguarding cases.
• Work closely with children, families and partner agencies.
• Contribute to care planning and decisions that keep children safe.
• Work on an office-based basis within the council’s children’s services team

What you’ll need

• A recognised social work qualification.
• Strong post-qualifying experience in child protection.
• Confidence managing complex cases and working collaboratively.
• Willingness to relocate from England and adapt to Scottish legislation and practice.
• Appropriate Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration before starting.
