We’re recruiting for an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join a specialist complex care service in Winsford, supporting adults with acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, mental health needs and complex behaviours.

This is a great opportunity for a confident Senior Nurse, Lead Nurse or Clinical Lead who enjoys combining hands-on clinical care with leadership, staff development and improving standards across a service.

The Role

As Clinical Lead Nurse, you’ll take responsibility for maintaining high clinical standards across the service while supporting and developing the wider nursing and care team.You will:

• Provide clinical leadership to Nurses and Support Workers
• Oversee care plans, risk assessments and clinical documentation
• Support adults with complex nursing, neurological and mental health needs
• Lead on medication management and safe clinical practice
• Support the management of complex behaviours and clinical risk
• Complete clinical supervision and competency assessments
• Coach and develop Nurses and care staff
• Lead on safeguarding, clinical governance and quality improvement
• Support the service in maintaining strong CQC standards

About You

To be considered for this Clinical Lead Nurse position, you’ll need:

• Active NMC registration as an RGN, RMN or RNLD
• Strong post-registration nursing experience
• Experience within complex care, neurological care, mental health, learning disabilities or acquired brain injury
• Previous experience supporting people with complex behaviours and higher clinical needs
• Confidence leading and supporting Nurses and wider care teams
• A good understanding of clinical governance and CQC standards

You may already be working as a Clinical Lead Nurse, Senior Nurse, Lead Nurse, Charge Nurse, Unit Manager or Deputy Manager, or be an experienced Nurse ready to take the next step into clinical leadership.
