Your role as Nursing Home Manager

As the Registered Home Manager, you will lead the nursing, care and support teams, maintaining the home’s strengths while driving continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering safe, person-centred nursing and dementia care
• Maintaining CQC compliance and strengthening evidence of high-quality care
• Overseeing clinical governance, safeguarding, medication management and audits
• Working with the Clinical Deputy Manager to develop nursing practice
• Coaching, supporting and retaining staff
• Managing staffing, budgets, resources and occupancy
• Building trusted relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals

About you

You must be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and have experience managing a nursing home.

• A successful track record of nursing home leadership
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance
• Evidence of achieving or maintaining Good or Outstanding care standards
• Experience managing teams, quality improvement and financial performance
• An approachable, visible and supportive leadership style
