Are you an experienced Care Coordinator looking for a stable Monday to Friday role within a large, established homecare organisation?

We are recruiting for a Care Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality community care services from a Gloucester-based office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, confident managing rotas and enjoys building strong relationships with care workers, clients and families.

The role combines office-based coordination with some field-based responsibilities, so a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required.

The Role

As Care Coordinator, you will play a key part in ensuring care is organised effectively and delivered to a consistently high standard.

You will coordinate care workers, manage rotas, support service delivery and help ensure individual care plans continue to meet each client's needs. You will also carry out field-based duties, including supporting assessments, reviews and supervision of care staff.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating care schedules and maintaining accurate rotas

• Supporting the allocation of care workers across community packages

• Building strong relationships with care staff, clients and families

• Supporting assessments and reviews of individual care plans

• Supervising and supporting care workers in the community

• Responding to changes in care requirements and staffing needs

• Ensuring records and systems are kept accurate and up to date

• Supporting the wider branch team to maintain high-quality service delivery

• Participating in the on-call rota

About You

To be considered for this Care Coordinator opportunity, you will ideally have previous experience within homecare, domiciliary care or community-based services.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience coordinating care services or care rotas

• Strong organisational and time-management skills

• Experience working with care workers and community-based teams

• Good communication and relationship-management skills

• The ability to manage changing priorities in a busy environment

• A strong understanding of quality care and person-centred service delivery

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent would be desirable

• A full UK driving licence

• Access to your own vehicle
