Take ownership of an established complex care service with genuine scope for growth. As Clinical Registered Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of high-quality community-based complex care across Sussex while supporting continued expansion into Surrey, with a strong focus on paediatric complex care.

This Clinical Registered Manager position combines service management, clinical governance and commercial growth. You’ll inherit an established service and experienced team while playing a key role in securing new referrals, developing care packages and supporting new business opportunities.

An established complex clinical healthcare provider delivering thousands of hours of community-based care each month.

The service supports children and adults with complex healthcare needs in their own homes and has an established infrastructure around the Clinical Registered Manager, including Clinical Leads, Care Coordinators, Recruitment, Business Development and senior clinical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hold operational and managerial responsibility for the CQC-registered complex care service, maintaining safe, compliant and high-quality care.
  • Provide leadership across paediatric and adult complex care packages within the community.
  • Lead and support Clinical Leads, Nurse Case Managers and Care Coordinators.
  • Maintain strong standards across clinical governance, safeguarding, quality, risk management and CQC compliance.
  • Oversee the safe mobilisation and ongoing management of complex care packages.
  • Drive service growth through new referrals, tenders and business development opportunities.
  • Build effective relationships with NHS ICBs, commissioners, local authorities and other healthcare professionals.
  • Work closely with Recruitment and Business Development colleagues to support sustainable branch growth.

About You

  • Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
  • Experience within community complex care, including paediatric complex care.
  • Strong clinical leadership or management experience.
  • Good understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, clinical governance and quality frameworks.
  • Confident leading multidisciplinary clinical and operational teams.
  • Commercially aware, with experience contributing to service growth, referrals, tenders or business development.
  • Comfortable building relationships with commissioners and external healthcare stakeholders.

You may already be a Registered Manager, Clinical Services Manager, Clinical Lead, Nurse Manager or Senior Nurse Case Manager looking to take the next step into broader operational leadership.

Previous Registered Manager experience would be advantageous, but applications are also welcomed from experienced clinical leaders who have already developed significant management responsibility and are ready to progress into a Clinical Registered Manager position.
