Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for an opportunity where you can genuinely shape the quality of a service, develop a strong team and make a meaningful difference to the people you support?
Leaders in Care is working with an established specialist care provider to recruit a Registered Manager for a small residential home in the Merseyside area, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs.
This is a hands-on leadership role with a provider that places a strong emphasis on person-centred care, positive behaviour support and achieving meaningful outcomes for the people it supports.
As Registered Manager, you’ll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the home, creating a safe, positive and well-led environment for both the people supported and your team.
You’ll be responsible for:
The provider’s model incorporates positive behaviour support and trauma-informed practice, with a focus on creating calm, safe and nurturing environments in which individuals feel listened to and supported.
We’re keen to speak with experienced managers who have worked within learning disabilities, autism, complex needs or a similar specialist adult care setting.
You’ll ideally bring previous management experience within a regulated care service, a good understanding of safeguarding and CQC requirements, and the ability to lead a team while keeping the people you support at the heart of decision-making.
An NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care alongside relevant management experience is specified for the position.
The role offers a salary of £50,000 per annum, alongside a particularly strong benefits package including 6 weeks’ annual leave, increasing to 7 weeks with service, health cashback, Blue Light Card discounts, life assurance, pension scheme, meals at work, employee rewards, EV salary sacrifice and ongoing learning and development opportunities.
There is also a structured training and development pathway designed to support ongoing CPD and leadership development.
If you’re an experienced care leader who enjoys being close to the people you support and wants the autonomy to lead a small specialist service properly, apply today or contact Mike at Leaders in Care for a confidential conversation.
