Brand New Children's Residential Home | Up to 3 Children | EBD & Complex Needs | Up to £550 per Day | 1 Day per Week

Responsible Individual (1 Day per Week) – Up to £550 per Day

We're supporting the launch of a brand new children's residential home and are looking for an experienced Responsible Individual to provide strategic oversight on a part-time basis, committing just one day per week.

The home will support up to three children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and complex needs, offering an opportunity to play a key role in establishing a high-quality, compliant service from day one.

This position would suit an experienced Responsible Individual who already works within the sector and has the capacity to support an additional home. You'll work closely with the leadership team, helping shape the service, maintain high standards of care and ensure the home is fully prepared to meet and maintain Ofsted expectations.

You'll provide governance and oversight across safeguarding, quality assurance, compliance and operational standards, supporting the Registered Manager while promoting a positive culture focused on achieving the best outcomes for young people.

What's on Offer?

  • 1 day per week commitment
  • Up to £550 per day
  • Opportunity to support the development of a brand new home
  • Autonomy to influence quality, governance and service delivery
  • Flexible role that can fit around existing commitments
  • Work alongside an ambitious provider committed to delivering outstanding care

What We're Looking For

  • Level 5 or Level 7 qualification in Leadership & Management
  • Previous experience as a Responsible Individual within children's residential care
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children's home legislation
  • Experience supporting children with EBD and complex needs
  • Excellent understanding of safeguarding, governance and quality assurance
  • Ability to provide strategic oversight while supporting a newly established service

If you're an experienced Responsible Individual looking for a flexible consultancy opportunity where you can have a genuine impact on the development of a new children's home, we'd love to hear from you.
