Are you an experienced Safeguarding Social Worker, Child Protection Social Worker, or Family Safeguarding Social Worker looking for a role that offers greater balance without compromising on meaningful practice?

As a Safeguarding Social Worker, you will manage a reduced caseload across Child in Need and Child Protection plans. You’ll take a relationship-based approach, working with families over the longer term to deliver meaningful interventions and sustainable change.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Child in Need and Child Protection cases Completing assessments, reviews, and interventions
  • Providing long-term family support and safeguarding planning Building strong, consistent relationships with children and families
  • Working collaboratively with an experienced multi-disciplinary safeguarding service
  • Supporting positive outcomes with minimal court involvement where appropriate

About you

To be considered, you’ll need:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Previous local authority experience in statutory children’s social care
  • Experience within safeguarding, child protection, or family safeguarding services
  • Confidence managing Child in Need and Child Protection caseloads A commitment to relationship-based, outcome-focused practice
