Are you an experienced Social Worker looking for a Family Help role with flexibility, manageable caseloads and excellent development opportunities?

We are recruiting for several Family Help Social Worker positions with a council in the East OF england The service is committed to ensuring practitioners have as minimal a caseload as possible, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with children, young people and families.

Family Help is  joined-up approach to supporting children, young people and families who need additional help. As part of the national Families First for Children Programme, the service brings agencies together to ensure families receive the right support, at the right time, and at the right level—helping to prevent needs escalating wherever possible.

You will work within the FIRST: Making Connections Count practice model, focusing on strengths-based, relationship-led practice. You will support families through longer-term interventions, including Child in Need and Child Protection work, with only a minimal number of court cases.

In this role, you will:

• Build strong, effective relationships with children, young people and their families Identify family strengths, needs and areas where further support may be required
• Coordinate support across education, health, community and voluntary-sector services Help families access local resources and develop resilient support networks
• Deliver positive, sustainable change through collaborative and strengths-based practice
• Work alongside experienced Social Workers, with access to high-quality training and development
