As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Deliver therapy through group and individual sessions.
  • Manage and prioritise caseloads.
  • Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Supervise and monitor programmes delivered by Therapy Assistants.
  • Collaborate with the education team to integrate therapy into classroom settings.
  • Participate in specialist training and development opportunities.

About You

The ideal candidate for the Occupational Therapist role will:

  • Be HCPC registered.
  • Have a strong interest in mental health and learning disabilities in children and young people.
  • Possess physical and mental resilience.
  • Be open to completing Team Teach positive behaviour support training.
  • Preferably have their own transport due to the rural location.
