  • Build strong, trusting relationships with the children, encouraging emotional well-being and positive behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools, and multi-agency professionals to ensure consistent support and progress.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior staff, ensuring best practice is maintained at all times.
  • Contribute to planning and organising engaging activities tailored to each child’s abilities and interests.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding and regulatory requirements.

About You

  • Experience supporting children or young people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to use communication aids effectively.
  • A strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a 24-hour service (including shifts, weekends, and bank holidays).
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach with a focus on safeguarding and promoting independence.

What’s on Offer

  • Salary: £27,254 - £33,699 per year (depending on experience and qualifications).
  • Generous Annual Leave: 30 days, rising to 33 after 5 years and 35 after 10 years.
  • Excellent Pension Scheme.
  • Ongoing training & Development: Access to a dedicated Practice Hub supporting your professional growth.
  • Supportive Management: Join a team that values collaboration, learning, and staff well-being.
