Package & Benefits
• Between £37,938 and £39,513 per annum for Social Workers.
• Between £40,476 and £45,718 per annum for Senior Social Workers.
• £4,000 welcome payment.
• Annual retention payment of £2,000.
• Relocation package of up to £8,000.
• Flexible working options available.
• 25.5 days annual leave increasing to 30.5 days after five years.
• Option to purchase up to 10 additional days leave per year.
About the Company
This well-established local authority is committed to improving outcomes for children and young people through relational and systemic practice. Teams are structured to provide meaningful management support, with experienced Team Managers and Advanced Practitioners helping maintain manageable caseloads and strong staff retention.
Key Responsibilities
• Support children and young people within the 16+ leaving care service.
• Build effective partnerships with colleagues and external agencies to safeguard young people.
• Deliver high-quality assessments, planning, and intervention work.
• Contribute to positive long-term outcomes for children and families.
About You
• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Experience working with children in placements or leaving care services.
• Background within statutory children’s social work services.
