If you are an experienced Safeguarding Social Worker who undertakes court work and is looking for a long-term contract within a well-supported children's service, this opportunity offers stability, flexibility, and manageable caseloads. You will work within a well-structured safeguarding service where court work forms a key part of the role. Managers are experienced, approachable, and focused on enabling high-quality practice, giving social workers the support needed to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.

About the Company

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a safeguarding caseload, including children subject to care proceedings.
  • Complete high-quality assessments, statements, and care plans for court.
  • Undertake statutory safeguarding interventions to protect children at risk of harm.
  • Work collaboratively with families, legal services, and partner agencies to achieve timely outcomes.

About You

  • Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
  • Recent experience within safeguarding teams undertaking court work.
  • Sound knowledge of child protection processes and care proceedings.
