Supervising Social Worker

I’m currently working with a values-led fostering service that puts child-centred decision making at the heart of everything they do. They’re looking for an experienced Social Worker to join their small, stable team supporting carers and looked-after children across South Wales.

Key Info:

• £35,000 – £47,000 DOE
•  Based from Cardiff office | Hybrid working
•  Full-time | 30 days annual leave + bank holidays

This is a role for someone who:

•  Thinks ahead and stays calm in complex situations
•  Is confident motivating and empowering foster carers
•  Values supervision and teamwork, but can work autonomously
•  Wants manageable caseloads that allow time for proactive, meaningful work

The role includes:

•  Direct work with children to represent their wishes and needs
•  Recruitment, assessment and ongoing support of foster carers
•  Genuine flexibility with some home working
•  The opportunity to make a real, lasting difference to children’s outcomes
