I specialise in Children's Social Work, supporting local authorities and care providers across the Midlands and the whole of Scotland with permanent and interim appointments. As an Executive Consultant, I work closely with organisations to identify experienced professionals who can make a positive impact on services, teams and the children and families they support.
As one of the longest-serving members of the Leaders in Care team, I've played a key role in the growth of our social work division and was part of the team that helped launch the business's dedicated social work offering. This experience has given me a strong understanding of the challenges facing children's services and the importance of securing high-quality professionals in a competitive market.
I particularly enjoy building long-term relationships with clients and candidates, taking the time to understand what success looks like for both. Working across the whole of Scotland, as well as the Midlands, has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of regional markets and workforce challenges across children's social care.
Throughout my career, I've earned four promotions and most importantly, I'm passionate about supporting a sector that plays such a vital role in protecting and improving the lives of vulnerable children and families.
